How It Works
Maplewood Tools Inc., 200 Bay Street, Suite 3800, Toronto, ON M5J 2J1, Canada runs CRS Calculator as an independent website. It has no ties to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or to any government, and it forms no part of them.
Sources for Each Rule and Number
- Points: our own tables copy IRCC's criteria for CRS points line by line, along with its 2026 changes page.
- Draws and processing times: the data comes from IRCC's own publications, updated each week.
- Language levels: IRCC's tables are used for IELTS, CELPIP, PTE Core, TEF Canada and TCF Canada scores.
- Job codes come from Statistics Canada's NOC 2021; the high-wage list is IRCC's.
- Consultants: the public register kept by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, refreshed every month.
In every guide, the sentence that uses a rule links to its official page.
Limits of a Result
The published rules are applied to your answers by the calculators. Treat them as information, not as advice on your own case. Your score and your application are decided by IRCC alone. Before you count on a result, check it with a licensed professional: a lawyer, a Quebec notary, or a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant.
We never charge for anything IRCC hands out free, and we do not sell advice on anyone's case. A consultant who works on immigration files picks things up when you call or send your answers, and their own terms apply.
Messages and Calls
The number on this site, 1-888-217-8101, connects you with a consultant. Calls may be recorded so your details are taken down correctly.
Your Browser Keeps Your Answers
Your answers stay in your browser's local storage, so a return visit starts where you left off. They leave your device only if you choose to send the profile review form. You will not find cookies, ads, or outside trackers here. What happens to a review request is covered on the privacy page.
